    Barb T to the rescue

Many on the forum might remember a couple months ago when I got my first Tewksbury tank in F&K 16oz Maple LEaf tartan, that after putting it on we discovered a significant skew in the tartan such that the selvedge edge did not line up with the waist edge.

Barb T took it back and, after extensive discussions with some of the board experts and much personal effort by her, she got things pretty much straightened out and my baby sent it back to me this week. I got my first chance to wear it out today, and it looks great. There is still a very subtle skew remaining but if you weren't looking for it you would never notice it, and with a sporran on board it is practically invisible.

Thank you again Barb for all your efforts in building my kilt and in following up and getting things "straightened out", so to speak. Well done you.

    Jeff

Great news, glad to see it's no longer leaning. Next time you are in Toronto you'll have to bring it.

I'm asuming that your slight skew didn't straighten things out? great work Barb, nice kilt Jeff. Love the tartan.

Yea, why not just be skewed?

I recognize that both my body and personality are a bit askew, but unfortunately the kilt skew only exaggerated the pre-exisiting above skews instead of countering them. Barb T has done a wonderful job of straightening the one skew she could fix. I guess I (and you all, of course) will just have to live with the skews that remain.

Do you have any idea what caused the skew and how it was fixed?
