Help me accessorize

My Mom is being nice and making an xkilt for me in Khaki. I plan on wearing it mostly with solid color golf shirts and cream hose. So here's my question, What color flashes would be better? I'm thinking I might go with Khaki flashes made from left over material or getting some fabric that about matches the golf shirt color and doing that.

I'm interested in some opinions and what other people do. My moms going to make the flashes for me at the same time so I'd like to give her a heads up.

Also does anyone know where I might be able to get a certain belt... The one I saw in a photo was like black webbing material with a black plastic buckle. It looked about 2.5 in wide but I can't be sure.
