79th NY Cameron Highlanders
A year ago i posted a thread just like this one asking the group here for information about the 79th New York Cameron Highlanders. I found many ppl here who had knowledge or resources that they shared with me. For that i am grateful.
On 14 Nov 2009 I put all of that information together and donned my uniform to be that soldier from the 79th. Here are a few photos of my portion from the event that is called "History Of The Soldier" it is a solute to the men and women who have fought since the Rev War till present.
I Know there are elements of my uniform that are inaccurate. As anyone who does re-enacting know how expensive it it to put such a suit together. I am only saying this so i dont have to defend what i am wearing or why. that said

I think you and your Dad have done a great job.

Thank you all for the comments. this was a very big effort on my part, as well as those who made my jacket, and my dad who puts on a spectacular show.
