    3 PV semi trads & a 5 yarder

I won't go through the old "box arrives at the door... pour a drink..." scenario (though that kind of presentation can be fun from time to time--especially when well done). But...

Yesterday I received my Firefighter's Memorial semi trad from Rocky and Co. I waffled on this one because sometimes reds can be unphotogenic, and most of the "action" pics I've seen haven't really brought out the beauty of the tartan. But it is indeed a beautiful red tartan...

My USAKs: Ramsay blue (16oz wool 5 yarder), Firefighter's Memorial, American Heritage, Tara/Murphy

Thanks to Rocky and Co. for another fine addition to my USAK kollection, and a special thanks to Kelly for a very fine tartan design for a very good cause!

    Sláinte!

Definately a fine addition to a wonderful collection of semi tradionals.... Wear it in good spirits and my hat is off to you for paying hommage to our fine Firefighters, who gave all.

How are they all pleated? To the tartan?

I'd like to see how that American Heritage tartan would look pleated to the line... very nice I would think.

Thanks for that link! It does look great pleated to the line.

Now, in the photo above the background colour appears to be black, but in the photos of Steve B's in the link, the background appears to be green. I saw another photo of American Heritage where the background appears to be dark blue. I'm considering getting a kilt in that tartan, but I wonder what the background colour actually is.
