Nice write-up on our Burns Night
Thanks to Haggis Hunter, we got a nice article in one of our local papers in advance of our Burns Night 1/23. You can follow this link for more:

Now that's a nice article. Very to the point and none of that exaggerated "here come those wacky guys in their kilts with their strange food" stuff. Love the writer's pointing out the parallels between Burns and rock stars....Jim Morrison roll over!
Best

Great Burns Night in Rochester!
We had a fabulous Burns Night at Brooklea Country Club in Rochester. Over 140 in attendance to see Andy Allan perform Scottish Dance to the piping of Peter Cormac, some of the most delicious Haggis anyone could remember from the HaggisMan, Bill Ritchie, a fine Immortal Memory presented by outgoing President Bob McNeill, and an outstanding 45 minute performance by the Rochester Scottish Pipes and Drums....I saw a lot of kilts in attendance, and one pair of very handsome trews sported by one gentleman.
Longhunter, was that you? I am sorry, I was busy and never put it together if it was. All in all, a great night for Great Scots in Greater Rochester!
