    C'est en faisant n'importe quoi qu'on devient n'importe qui

For those of you who don't have the pleasure of knowing Rémi Gaillard and his brand of practical jokes and stunts... He is HILARIOUS! This Frenchman pulls some of the wildest stunts and still somehow manages not to get arrested (although he's caught a few punches from a couple of less-than-amused prank victims over the years)...

Here's a wikipedia article about him:

You can check out some of his stunts at his website.

I especially like the "snail" bit, the "mario kart" bit, and the "Poil" bit... Where he goes into a small, French village named "Poil" (which means body hair in French), dresses up as a humongous can of shaving cream and proceeds to spray shaving cream all over the village.

But anyway, the reason why I bring this up at all.. If you check out the clip on his site called: "Le Tour" where he tricks Sunday cyclists into thinking they're winning some bicycle race.... If you watch through to about the 2-minute mark, there's a guy dancing around in what seems to be a Royal Stewart kilt of sorts. Anyway, funny stuff. Checkitout.

Disclaimer: Don't visit the site if you're easily offended by practical jokes. Not everyone can laugh at this sort of thing. If that's you, you probably won't see the humour in this. But for what it's worth, Gaillard always apologizes after all his stunts, and offers to pay for, fix, replace, or clean up anything that's been damaged...

On ne peut pas vraiment dire que cet énergumène fasse particulièrement honneur à la France...
