Celebrity look-a-like

Hi guys. There's a thing I've noticed on Facebook in the last couple of days where people are posting pictures of celebrities that they are often told that they look like. I thought it would be cool to try something like this on the forum.



I think my facial structures are rather original, though, I am often told I look like Matt Willis (singer-songwriter, used to play drums in the band Busted)

I'll likely pass on participating here as I'm typically compared to folk I'd rather not resemble!

When I moved to London in the early '80's, girls used to tell me I looked like Midge Ure of Ultravox, partly cause like Midge I'm a midget too, have a Jock accent, at that time also had a Clark Gable moustache and wore the same sort of clothes and post-New Romantic hair (pure coincidence you understand, even my liking for Ultravox was pure coincidence ). Didn't get me any "mistaken identity" intimate groupie moments though !

Nowadays I'm more often mistaken for Jabba the Hut.

I hope he doesn't take offense to this, but I will nominate Zardoz. I see a strong similarity between him and actor Jean Reno. Every time I see Zardoz's pictures, that's who it reminds me of.

I've never heard that one before! I certianly don't take offense! Jean Reno is a fave actor around our house.

Until now, about the only time I've been favorably compared to a celebrity was when a really drunk Scot at a kilt night told my wife I "look like feckin' Sean Connery" which my wife thought was "feckin' hilarious" but I remind her of it all the time!




Kind of sad actually, since Sir Sean is almost twice my age!

Ever since I let my hair grow out I've had people say that I look like - or indeed mistake me for - Geddy Lee of Rush. One could do worse, certainly, but he is even older than I...!



By the way, that's a picture of him, not me. Yes, it is.

No pictures of my earlier days but I had two celebrity lookalikes. First, Tom Hanks in my younger days when I still had hair and was 75 lounds lighter. Then Steven Seagall for the next three years I grew a full length pony tail. Had over a hundred people tell me I looked like Tom Hanks, but only about 30 do so for Steven Seagall.

Now that I am old, balding, fat and grey, I look more like Jabba the Hut than anybody else.
