Found this listing for 4 lightly used tweed sportcoats for $40 Buy-it-now. Not bad looking coats, not kilt cut, and don't look like they have patch pockets so conversions may not be so easy. But still nice looking jackets for the price all the same.

If only I was 120 years younger and about 50 pounds lighter (oh, and maybe 4 inches shorter).

Your link takes me to that blue "denim tweed" fabric that's been listed for weeks. . . not that I need more projects!

EDIT: Should be a good haul for some lucky buyer. Note the $30 shipping.
