Nor Cal Rabble Kilted Meet-up at Buffalo Bill's

Not so much rain this time and the traffic was manageable.

Big portions. Anyone remember what this is?

    Oatmeal stout - yum!

    Mini-viking invasion.

    The ladies.

    And the kilties.

Friend Bill arrived before the beer ran out. He's sporting his new canvas box-pleat X-kilt.

Bill is making leather goods now.

A great evening in spite of the weather. Looking forward to the next get-together.

Looks to have been a fun time! Sorry I missed yet another NorCal rabble night. Week nights are tough for me, especially because I'm NorNorCal. Maybe when the skies clear and the creek stops rising I'll kilt up and join the party.

Oh come on, GDub, you've been saying that for what, two years, now? LOL....no worries, sooner or later we'll all converge on a pub in your neighborhood!

....but only if the band at the bar is really good and has a hot accordion player!

The truth is I have a serious Jones to meet you all, but here's the deal. Besides being in a working band, I work in Menlo Park but live in the North Bay. That means I drive a LOT every day--and I get up at 3:30 AM so I can get on the road before traffic. That's why week nights are impossible for me. Now, you could all come to the city (Civic Center Plaza) on Saturday for the St Paddy's day festivities, see the band and afterwards we kilties (and a few non-kilted band members) could all head over to Gordon Biersch? for a pint...

I live in Menlo Park and work at a University close by. Just sayin'!

Unfortunately, I'm doing a gig at the Dublin Saint Patricks Day Parade, but other folks might be able to make it. Put it up on the "California" activities forum.
