My confession
I am feeling SO guilty, and they say confession is good, so ...
Last night, I went steeking. I don't think anyone saw me. But still, there I was, with needle and thread and a box-pleated kilt, where people could have seen me.
But it didn't end there. That felt so good, I decided to repress a kilt. It was beginning to look very free, with pleats going this way and that. But I applied heat and pressure, and now it hangs in my closet, each pleat uniform. Yes, it looks neat and tidy, but it also looks a bit sad.
And to top it all off, I would have repressed two kilts, but I didn't have room to lay both flat to dry. And if someone or something doesn't stop me, I may repress another kilt tonight!
Ah. I feel better.

Just as confession is good, so is absolution.
So, my friend, be sure that faith and knowledge of all things Scottish will succor you in your travails and go forth with a strong heart and swinging pleats.

Ah. I feel better.
You need to lean to repress your violent tendencies, not poor defenseless garments! The road to depravity is a short one - save yourself, man!

Seek help before your whole closet is awash in sharp pleats!

The first step in solving a problem is to admit we have a problem.
You're off to a good start.
Now on to step 2.

I always thought that we should oppose repression wherever we find it!

Sounds like those kilts may have some repressed issues...
