A sad realization...But not to worry

I was finishing up some alteration on a coat today for a forum member and came to a realization at about 3 PM......My kilt was getting to hot to wear in my shop. My temp meter on the window peaked at 83 degrees, and I realized as I began to feel the beads of sweat that its that time of year when I put up the kilts until about October......Wool kilts that is.

BUT NO WORRIES!!! My fleet of PV's are all pulled out and tomorrow I begin my spring/summer PV kilt wearing session...Albannach is gonna see daily wear for the next week, but then there's the IoS, the Caledonia, then the Scottish national, then the Gunn..........I can't wait!!!!

I am hoping it will warm up enough around here soon so I can start wearing my pv casual kilt.

For me, it is never too cold for the PV. Then again, I prefer shorts in the winter...

Never heard anyone refer to their kilt collection as a "fleet" before. I kind of like that! For PV kilts, especially.

What would be the appropriate term for the wool kilts? A flock?

It's been getting warm down here too. Upper 70s to lower 80s. But this morning we had one last cold front blow in. BRRRRRR!

This morning it was 25 degrees, 20-30 mph winds, and a couple inches of new snow. Where's my wool tank?

A group of tanks (the kind with treads and canon) are usually referred to as a squadron.
