Looks like a beautiful day. Great variety of kilts! I'm diggin' SP8's brown bonnet! Love that brown color!
Whenever I see this many kilties in one place I feel the need to go and count my live stock. Oh, I don't have any live stock.... well, that proves my point doesn't it

Sorry I missed you guys--I went out for a quick hour and thought I saw Tobus (recognized the bonnet!) and turned around and he was gone when I turned back. The games have gotten much bigger and better than the last time I attended. But, still no Campbell tent!!!

It was a pleasure meeting these fellows! Jack Daw was very hospitable in sharing the Clan MacIntyre tent with me since my own clan didn't bother to set up at these games. And I really enjoyed chatting with ShaunMaxwell. Didn't get to visit much with TheSP8 other than a brief introduction. But I had a good time at the games and hopefully I can meet up with these gentlemen again.

It was a good day Sat. We had a good time as usual. My wife forced me to buy a new Workman's Utilikilt. One music group was missing their piper and had a substitute fiddler yet they still sounded great. It was good to get to meet everyone and spend time talking. Hopefully more time for talking next year Tobus.

My wife forced me to buy a new Workman's Utilikilt.
Forced you, huh?
I looked through their selection, but sadly they didn't have any in my size. All I ended up buying at the festival was a new pair of charcoal kilt hose, a coffee mug, and a thistle necklace for my wife. Oh, and lots of Belhaven Scottish Ale and Scotch eggs.
