Taos, New Mexico Tartan Day Celebration
Since much of Colorado used to be part of New Mexico, and since Denver is ONLY a 4 hour drive from Taos, All of you "Northerners" are invited to Taos' first ever Tartan Day Celebration/Kilt Night on Wednesday April 14th, 2010. The Location is Eskes Brew Pub, just off of the historic Plaza. Live Celtic music is on tap, as well as some mighty good craft beers.
More details to follow as they become available!

Sounds like it would be a great time. Too bad I have to work that day and the next, oh, and the cost for getting there and staying at lease overnight. I have enjoyed all of my visits to Taos and vicinity and will get a chance to head there again some day but not in the cards (read budget) at this time.

I wish I could, but I'm involved in the Denver festival. Take pictures for us, though! I'd love to see pics from your first ever fest.

Ah darn! I was going to ask you to drink a jar of local salsa to honor the chili gods, Hawk.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
