Scottish Singing Legend Sir Kenneth McKellar dies

A sad loss - he was a singing legend and often wore the Kilt.

He represented the UK in the 1966 Eurovision Song Contest.

The song did not do well but he must have been the best dressed contestant!

That is sad to hear. I've enjoyed his voice for many years. Thank you, Mr. McKellar.

    He was a good singer.

He was quite a big man and was apparently sometimes difficult to work with. In his time, some of the Scottish entertainment industry gave him the nickname "The Ogre".
