    New Kilt

I finally received my Clann gunn Ancient Tartan from USAkilts.
It arrived just in time for the Scottish games in Bridgeport, WV this weekend. http://www.clangunn.us/gunn_tartan.htm
My tartan is the third one down. Sorry , but I can't figure out how to attach a photo without going to the URL.

    Linking To A Photo

To put the photo in the message you need to upload it to a service like Photobucket (free) and then once it is uploaded put the URL linked to the photo in the message. With Photobucket it is extremely easy as the create the URL for you and by clicking on it it Copies it for you and then you just Paste it in the URL link for your message.

I hope you to see your photo, and enjoy your new Kilt I know how sweet the feeling is. Enjoy the Games as well.

You can also upload your photo to your user photo album here on the forum and then link to it.
What style of kilt is it from USAK?

This is the third one down on that site, but it's listed as "Weathered", not "Ancient":
    --dbh

When given a choice, most people will choose.

The "Ancient" and "Weathered" tartans are the same pattern for Clann Gunn

Hey MacShorty... good to see you up here!

As a point of clarification, Modern, Weathered AND Ancient are all the same thread count for Gunn (or ANY clan). It's the colors of the dyes that vary.

In Weathered, the blue turns to grey and the green turns to brown. In ANCIENT, it's a LIGHT green and LIGHT blue. In MODERN, it's a NAVY blue and a dark bottle green.

Hope this info helps clear it up a bit.

(BTW... you got the Gunn Weathered 13 oz from Lochcarron)
