Avon Walk Report
Got back from the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer a little bit ago. Walked kilted of course. If I had required a $5.00 donation for every photo a lady walker wanted taken with me, I'd have next year's fund raising done, instead of still being a few hundred short of goal for this year. I have a picture at mile 26, two tenths shy of the first day finish. We did a marathon this first day and a half marathon the second. Michele has the pics of the finish today.
Next year I am going to try to put together a kilted team of walkers.
By the way, the USAKilts Casual worked great for the walk, through a major portion of Washington DC, including the Capital Mall, and Georgetown.
