    The Sporran

The sporran and matching belt were a gift from my darlin' wife Maggie. She found the company, Centaur Design, on the web. She called them up and spoke with them, they then looked up the colors of the tartan, and then they custom dyed both pieces to more appropriately match the colors in the tartan.
I'd say that that is pretty good service.
As an aside, their shop is located at Traquair House, http://www.traquair.co.uk/ ,the oldest continually inhabited home in Scotland.

    Not Yet

I don't do pleat shots on the first posting!

Actually, I looked at the photos that I have and there are NO pleat shots. Obviously that is a situation that needs to be rectified. I will be recharging the camera batteries as soon as I can find the recharger.

Also, when it comes to you, Riverkilt, I have hair envy. My hair merely comes down to the middle of my shoulder blades.

Why don't you swing down through Durango and stop in Taos on your next trip to visit the big city. We can have a kilt night and I should have my new Lochcarron Johnston casual, ordered through Kathy, by then.

Hmmm, headed up to Ridgeway, CO in a couple weeks, but usually cut up to Telluride from Cortez by way of Rico. Been a long time since I've walked the streets of Taos though...should make a plan to poke around the New Mexico Rockies kilted...

That's handsome, and I also really like the belt and sporran.
