Carlsbad, CA Summer School of Piping 2010

I was wondering if anyone form XMTS will be in Carlsbad during June 18-25? I will be down there for Bagpipe Summer School and was just wondering.

The weekend after your school dates is when the San Diego Scottish Highland Games are at Vista which is just a short jump down the highway from Carlsbad. They are great games and I highly recommend them. They are Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th.

Yes what's cool is that the instructors from the school serve as judges at the San Diego Games (held in Vista for some reason).

I'll be down at those Games. Any other X Markers there?

Does the school take beginners. as in never touched a bagpipe, but love the music types?
