    A pleasant surprise

I was delegated by my Daughter to pick up two bottles of Vampire Wine for her Sunday night "True Blood" Party. For those not familiar with " True Blood", it is a series offered by HBO now in its third season, about the supernatural goings on in a little Louisianna town. Sunday is the first episode of the Third season. I went into the liquor store and noticed thet were having some kind of tasteing going on. At that point I did not pay much attention as I was focused on my mission. I found the wine after a rather lenghty search and proceeded to the front of the store. As I approached the tasteing area I suddenly noticed that they were offering Drams of Glenmorangie!! Glenmorangie being my favorite single malt, I jumped into line and got to sample several different versions of this fine drink. A very pleasant surprise.

Is Vampire available year round? I usually only see it around Halloween.

P.S. Lest people think it is a gag wine (well, the title is), Hungary and western Romania (aka, Transylvania, which had been part of the Kingdom of Hungary until the end of WWI) are noted for their fullbodied red wines. Tokay is a good example.

I gotta wonder if the local police are left uninformed of these tasting events?
Vampire Wine sounds like it could be a gruesome beverage for the not-so-stout-hearted!
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?
