Greetings from Kent, OH!
Hello Everyone!,
I've been a piper/bandsman for years and am NO stranger to the kilt, but have had a number of issues (cleaning, pressing, alterations, etc.) where I just didn't know what to do or where to turn to resolve these issues. I bought Barb's book -- thanks, Barb! . . . and am just about ready to attempt making my first kilt. I'm not wasting time practicing, but plan on jumping in and swimming with the sharks on my first. I'm pretty good with my hands so a wee bit of luck and a few prayers for good measure and I ought to be OK. I'll keep you posted on how things go. It should be an interesting journey! I'm open to all suggestions so please don't hold back.
OK, I'm off and running again. Yet another gig!
Ṃran, ṃran taing!
Only 9 notes. How hard could it be?
