SWK and other "off the rack" sizing questions

I am wondering what the measurment of the hip would be for off the rack kilts, such as those sold by stillwater.

For example, if the waist is 36" what would the hip measurment be? I would assume the hip would be around 38" for this example?

    Thanks guys!

That will vary by manufacture. Best to give them a call.

If they're basing it by average, then the hip measurement would be more like 40-42 inches

Here is a link to the Stillwater page that explains how to measure yourself

    http://stores.channeladvisor.com/Sti...b.aspx?tabid=1

Note that the standard length of a Stillwater kilt is 24". If this is too long for you it will have to hemmed.

Stillwater owner Jerry V. has a well deserved reputation for customer service. If you have questions the best way to get them answered is to contact him by email at sales@stillwaterkilts.com

I have ordered something like 10+ kilts and a lot of other kit from Jerry for myself, friends, and family and I highly recommend Stillwater. His wool Heavyweight series are an especially great value.

    Cheers
