"Single Width" Fly Plaid?
I've decided that my first (and possibly only) kilt will be a custom-weave in my family tartan and would like to purchase a fly plaid at the same time. From what I've found, most custom weaves are only single width, which leads to my question...
Would a single-width fly plaid be acceptable?
Most fly-plaids seem to be a double-width square of tartan cloth with a fringe and I'm worried that a single-width plaid wouldn't look right.
If a single-width plaid doesn't work, does anyone know of somebody that does double-width custom weaves?
Thank you!
