A long time
Good morning gentleman, or at least its morning for me, working the graveyard shift. My last visit was in April of '08, two years since I've been on these boards. A random google search looking up the phrase "Ka nama kaa lajerama." brought me back. Its not as if I never thought about this forum, it was more one of those, "I'll get around to posting there eventually."
Well, here's an update, still proudly wearing the kilt, anywhere, anytime. I got a new job, in corrections, which is the only place I don't wear my kilt. Though if they allowed a brown BDU version I probably would. Speaking of the job, I'm about to be going there now, so this update must end. I miss the short time I got to hang out on this site, and I'll try not to let it be two years before I post again.
"Lads, we're outnumbered, surrounded, and will all likely die tomorrow, but I have good news!"
"I just found a bunch of whiskey in the castle cellar!"

Welcome back! I do other sorts of things in security management these days; but I was one of the very first group of a half-dozen school-trained and MOS-qualified corrections specialists ever to be assigned to the Marine brig at MCAS Cherry Point, NC, in 197(mumble), so I can kinda relate. Be safe!!

Hi, Wulf, and welcome back. I’m from the bottom end of Africa.
Be careful inside there!
And when you’re outside, keep up the kilting!
Regards,
Mike
