    Celidh outfit check

This coming saturday I am attending a Celidh to celebrate 150 years of cadet forces, I am going to wear my TFCK kilt suit and Raf tartan tie.
Here are some photos I took on sunday night when I was preparing everything.

The red tie and hose are beacuse I didnt have My new tartan tie, I still dont have Blue hose (hopefully they will arrive soon) so they are my back up pair, that or black?

Pleats and a pleat shot from a different outfit.

So what does the rabble think? Its not a traditional outfit but I personaly think a modern take on the accepted traditions

You look damn smart Jordan and you'll be a credit to the Unit. I would opt for shoes rather than boots as you will probably be dancing at some point. Otherwise, everything is great.

    Regards

The first couple of pics are me in my slippers, the boots are from the otherday when I went shopping.

I have shoes waiting to be polished to a mirrored shine (ready for the fisrt person I see to stand on!)

Very smart looking Jordan, I am sure you will be a standout on the night, enjoy yourself. I like the addition of the watch and chain

Agreed! And good call on the well-polished shoes.

These are the first pics I've posted and infact the only time so far that the whole thing has been worn at one time. I had a bit of a hoo ha in getting it and I havent acctualy worn it out in public yet.

It took me 45 minutes to un pick the stitching holding the pockets closed

I recieved an email from Chris at Dunadd Trading Co. This morning saying the blue hose I orded were out of stock.

It is my fault I should have orderd them before I did but I compleatly forgot till lastnight.

I have red and black hose but i cant seem to decide which would be best.

Red will add some colour to my outfit and go with the red stripe in the RAF tartan of my tie but on the other hand might be a bit much.

The Black go with everything and wont clash on the other hand there is alot of black already and the hose might be a bit much.

It will be friday before i have a chance to check and see how it all looks but Im hoping for the best.

I say red hose because it will add colour, go with your tie, and make the whole thing more lively.
