So I finished my first X-Kilt yesterday morning! I have to admit, I was a bit of a coward when it came to sewing, much of which I drafted my mother to help do (I wasn't confident in my capabilities with the machine) I'm quite happy with how it turned out, and I'm already thinking about the next one (which I plan to do by myself :P) and what ways I'll modify it. We attached two metal D rings to the front belt loops, so in a few days I can make a bag to hang in the front, until I can afford a sporran, and for when I want something a little more rugged.

So, without further ado:

Many thanks to Alan H for the guide, and to Sydnie7 for advice about fabric!
