    Preparations well in hand

This weekend coming we have English Bloke and Mrs English Bloke and their family plus Doublewood Dave and anyone else they are bringing along for the Grand Ceremony of handing over 'The Muckle Clock'.
Before that though we are all hitting the hills on the bus to our favourite retreat

Then in the evening we are having a kitchen mini folk fest n twmpath. So today I am not only rehearsing but cleaning the Muckle in readiness for the handover.

If there is any other xmarker who thinks they can make it you are welcome to join us. It will certainly be a blast. Just pm me.

    Hi Derek.

Can't wait actually. Apparently the guest house in Rumney where we stayed for last years festival is no longer a guest house so we're staying in Roath which is just round the corner. I'm hoping to get to Rumney for about 09:00 and I have your number already (thanks) so I'll give you a call when we get close.

We can't check into where we are staying till after 14 o'clock so we'll leave that till we get back from the wander. Probably need to freshen up before we start jammin' anyway. We'll be bringing an assortment of guitars, a mandolin and various tin whistles as well as a few tinnies for the evening fest... Oh yeah, and kilts too.

I'm tempted to bring my pipes as well but I really can't play them very well at all yet so I'd best leave them at home. Your neighbours will thank me for that probably.

Looking forward to it me ol' mate. Ring you on the day.

Please do post pics, and some account. Sounds like a cracking time!

Yes jealous is in my heart too, but it is also with joy that the clock goes to another friend who appreciates it.
