    Interesting piece of work, Donnie. That is a beautifully worked thistle, but the catch is one I have only seen (as far as sporrans are concerned) on ysgrepans (Welsh sporrans).
    Did the lady request it?

    Mike...check out Donnie's website. He uses that clasp on nearly all of his flap-style sporrans. He's a very talented leatherworker and could do anything the individual requested I'm assuming, but the clasp is pretty much his standard. A friend of mine recently received a leather and fur cantle type sporran from him and it superb...I can't wait to see it in person.

    I have 4 of Donnies creations and both of the flap style have the cigar box latch ( the other two are hunter style) and that latch works great for quick in and out, love them.
