    Flash

I have a Scottish National Tartan, matched with Navy blue hose, I am wondering what is the consensus on Red flash with this color combo?

keep the red flashes, dump the navy hose

Have you considered bottle green hose, or maybe even a COMPLIMENTARY light green color for the hose, either of them with red flashes? And what about good old khaki tan?

I never even thought about Green hose, I thought maybe a contrasting color to the mostly green Kilt to make it stand out more.

Red is great with everything well everything except red! Capitan Matchy of the USS Color Blind here. Red flashes will go great though with blue hose I like yellow flashes. If you get green hose try and go a shade darker or lighter then the kilt. See Jock I am learning even if its at a snails pace. Now where do we have the smiley with the flat cap on?

    Tiny.

Well done. I am not being at all cleaver really. I am only pointing out what many experienced kilt wearers have found out, over many years, that there are more options to "ring the changes" than, at first, seem.

Flat tweed caps are absolutely fine and very usefull and dashing they are----------under certain circumstances! LOL
