    Kilted officer in WWII

Here's a link to good article about a kilted officer in WWII who worked with the French Resistance after D-Day. He would wear his kilt in plain view, just to buck up the spirits of the French and let them know that they were not alone.

It just goes to show that a man in a kilt is man indeed!

Outstanding, makes me want to get the autobiography.

With the lead sentence Hero in a Kilt, one would think that the photograph would be one of him kilted.

Looks like they used stills from The Longest Day to illustrate the article.
