Knitted Flashes

I recently made some knitted kilt flashes! Let me know what you think, and I have plenty of yarn if anyone wants a pair!

Welcome to Xmarksthescot. Your first post includes a link to your handmade stuff- very good!

I made some like yours a while back with a little knitting machine called a Jenie (or something close to that). However, I am no hand-knitter like my wife Carol, or Matt's wife Joanie, or our own Ryan Ross, to name a few.

You will find good company, and many other really good hand-knitters, on this forum.

Looking forward to more posts of your work.

When I took a peek at your photo I was expecting something rather different from round garter ties, but I think they're rather nice.... Nice job!

Thank you everyone for your feedback. I used a device called a "Wonder Knitter" that's made by a company named Clover. Its a little plastic cheating device that allowed me to make a pair of flashes in about 30 minutes. Not too shabby considering that it was around $8.00. I'm finishing up some Sgian Brews and antler kilt pins, so those will be posted soon. Thank you for your welcome, and I'm glad to be a part of such a well dressed community!
