Cool Our Line of Utility Kilts

    Hello X Marks,

Have you seen our line of Utility Kilts? They are called Bilt Kilts. They are machine sewn kilt that you customize by choosing the thread, cloth and pleating.

We have just introduced our line of Hybrid kilts they mix our contemporary kilts with a traditional flair of tartan or tweed inserts. You can have almost any tartan as an insert and we have a range of tweeds shown on our website available. We also have a premium version which is full tweed or tartan with tweed or tartan inserts. Click here to see our Hybrid Kilts.

Lastly, we have a number of Stock size Bilt Kilts on sale for $150.00 cdn. These are the same great quality you would normally pay $229.95. The difference is these are off the rack. They are priced to sell fast. Click here to see selection.

Out of curiosity I looked at the website. While looking at the kilts I noticed that there was not a single shot of the front of the kilt. All I could find were pleat shots. Now I didn't look at every single item, but every one I looked at only had one photo of the back side.

Currently our hybrid kilt is the only one that shows the front and multiple images. The previous website didn't have multiple image capabilities like this one does.I will do my best to have apron shots up by end of the week.

When wearing the BiliKilt, does it sit on the hips like pants or is up higher like a trad. kilt?

That is one of the great features of a Bilt Kilt we can make it so it sits on your hips or so you can wear it traditionally. That is your personal choice for comfort. Just choose traditional or contemporary fit when purchasing your Bilt Kilt to determine which one is best for you.

Note: Selection is only available on made to measure kilts.

I saw these for sale at the Mid-Winter Irish and Scottish Festival in February. Not my style but they were kind of cool. Definitely not your traditional kilt.
