    Question New Tartan Advice

I designed a tartan for the sheriff's office that I work for, and have been honored to have the Sheriff accept my design. Since the design has been approved, I am mainly looking to double-check that the pattern is acceptable for making into a kilt. Will it "pleat" correctly, etc.

    Here is the pattern:

    Black 6
    Gold 6
    Black 78
    Peroxide White 2
    Balmoral Blue 6
    Morning Grey 12
    Black 12
    Morning Grey 12

    Any advice is appreciated.

To me ... it looks like it should pleat well.

I really like your design. I'm thinking of doing a blackish tartan myself. Very elegant.

That's really slick. It's simple and pretty well balanced. Very clean, not too busy. Well done.

I can't say how well it will pleat, but I'm sure a good kiltmaker can get most any sett to pleat up.
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.
