Any news of Hamish's recent hospital trip?
In mid January Hamish was due to go back into hospital. He warned us that it would be some time before we heard from him. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything? Thanks in anticipation.

As far as I know things went well and he's recovering. In a few more weeks he should be starting to get back on his feet.

I can only assume that no news is good news and that all went well. I thought that Jim might post some updates as he did with the last round, but I've not seen any yet.

Very many thanks for your concern my friends. Yes, I am home again and have been convalescing for a while since leaving hospital. As far as I can tell, the operation was a success, but there were complications one result of which is that I am stuck with a catheter - not the easiest 'accessory' to keep hidden for a full-time kilt wearer!! I am earnestly hoping that this is only temporary, maybe for a few weeks, but I cannot cope without it now. Happily, I am being monitored regularly regarding that inconvenience, and I will be seen again by my surgeon in about a month to confirm the success of the operation itself [Note my optimism!].
I will not be showing up here, or elsewhere on line, very much for a week or two but, believe me, I cannot wait to be back here in full force, where I feel I belong.
Thank you all again, and
Take care,
Ham.

I wish you a speedy recovery with a very temporary need for the catheter.
