Bottony Cross Plaid Brooch by Tyger Forge

I received my Bottony Cross Plaid brooch made by Tyger Forge yesterday in the mail! I'm very happy w/the quality of the item & the customer service I received from Mark I do believe that it was maybe 2 weeks from the time that I sent Mark my check that my brooch had arrived! The Brooch is solidly made & has a good weight to it. Although I call this my Plaid Brooch as that is what I'll use it for, they are advertised as kilts pins & I can see that use for them as well I will for sure be ordering again from Tyger Forge! Thanks again Mark @ Tyger Forge

Using it as a plaid brooch is a great idea! I'd love to see it in action. Congrats on the new acquisition

    Looks awesome, Mark!

I got my girlfriend one simmilar, in copper on clay, for use on her scarves and sash and such, and she loves it. Really high quality, sturdy construction and so much cooler than the mass-produced pieces that you see all over.

    Glad y'all like them.

I am much divided over what to wear, so I keep options open. The shawl pins are great too, and have had a lot of appreciation in a couple of yarn shops around here.

I have further experimented with heat and glass and stone.

A couple of recent ones, pushing the envelope in a couple of directions:

    Mason's Symbol, pewter, silver, glass

Welsh Dragon, brass, epidode (gemstone eye), paint
