Geeky Sporran
Ok I am new to the kilted way of life. I am a nerd or geek whichever you prefer. I would like to bring in some of my hobbies into my kilt wearing. So i was curious.
Are there sporrans out there with nerd tooling? Perhaps something like a day sporran with the shield or tri force from the legend of zelda? Or maybe one with a bass clef tooled into since i play bass.
Thanks in advance
Frank

Nighthawk does some great leatherwork. I bet he would work with you on one.

I prefer the term "geek" personally. Indeed, I have a navy blue t-shirt with that single word on it that I often wear with my Scottish National kilt. Looks great.
Anyway, I believe I've seen a pic of a sporran with one of the Transformers symbols on it posted here. But I'm sure it was handmade or custom-made. So if you are able to pay for the personalization, I'm sure you can find someone to attach or emboss or whatever some appropriate symbol onto some leather for you.
Good luck!

I remember seeing a few pics of sporrans with Rebel Alliance symbols from Star Wars as well as the Punisher's logo made by Donnie at Wyvern Leatherworks I think.

They are the third entry or so.
I'm glad I'm not the only one...I've been wanting a sporran with a Starfleet logo and a mess jacket for my next convention.
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

i would absolutely love a rebel alliance sporran and an imperial logo sporran or one that has a way to change the logo.

I like making contemporary sporrans and have gotten nothing but compliments when I've been out and about on "modernising" the traditional look a bit.

Somewhere on the West Coast (I think) was a pipe band person that used an old Felix the Cat purse as a sporran.
