Greetings from Vancouver BC Canada (and all over BC).
My name is a unique one and I'm keeping it to myself for the time being, but it's on my birth certificate, and that answers most questions people have regarding who to make cheques out to. For now you may refer to me as "Reptoid". (It's a play on words and refers to a social paradox regarding my family line)
I am a W.I.S.E. ***, meaning I am Welsh Irish Scottish English and not just a man with a dark sense of humour and eccentric manner.
My kilt is being made by Steve Ashton of Freedom kilts. We are importing Scottish fabric that I have selected and once completed I'll have spent about $800 on Steve's masterful skills. The tartan which I find most beautiful is named "Scotland forever" and I am truly looking forward to wearing it everywhere I travel whether daily routine activities or at special events both local and abroad. Link to tartan sample.
I am currently developing an alternative energy community which will be located in the middle region of British Columbia once the land which is best suited to us has been selected. Meanwhile I continue to reside in Vancouver, my birth region, as our community continues to develop.
I think that should suffice as a brief introduction on this forum.
I'd like to thank Steve Ashton for the invitation to membership. I sense many good proud people here and loads of positivity.
Blessings to all.
Eternal individual family independence, personal sovereignty, and perpetual vigilance in honourable absolution, always and forever.

Welcome from deepest, darkest Cedar Cottage.
Re: alternate energy, etc. : I would like to know more about what you have in mind, as I have some parallel interests.
I also have one of Steve's masterpieces--you'll be more than pleased with the result.
EPITAPH: Decades from now, no one will know what my bank balance looked like, it won't matter to anyone what kind of car I drove, nor will anyone care what sort of house I lived in. But the world will be a different place, because I did something so mind bafflingly eccentric that my ruins have become a tourist attraction.
