    Never for PV Kilts

My understanding that it will damage the teflon coating.

The literature that came with my PV's from Rocky said not to use fabric softener and dryer sheets for that very reason. I don't know if Febreeze and similar odor killing sprays will have the same effect, so I just don't take the chance. As far as a device like this, I can't say, but I wouldn't try it until getting an okay from your kiltmaker.

I'd bet it's harmless for wool considering it was designed with suits and other dry-clean-only garments in mind, but I'd still contact a couple of good kiltmakers or the mill and be sure, regardless of the material or what Whirlpool says. They want you to buy it and probably don't care if it does damage.

The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

The Whirlpool fabric freshener is like steam cleaning.
    Whirlpool LRF4001RY Fabric Freshner - 2 to 3 Garment Capacity, 8' Cord

Forget taking your clothes to the dry cleaner and put away the iron because the Whirlpool LRF4001RY Fabric Freshener easily and conveniently removes odors and relaxes wrinkles without chemicals or detergents. Freshens 2 garments at once.

Oh yes, many here use steamers -- hand-held or standing types. Maybe a search on "steamer" will bring up the threads, I'll take a quick peek.

Yup, "steamer" does the trick. Here's an example: LINK
