BELTS - There's only one place to get them!
I just received the Kilt belt and sporran strap that I ordered from Steve at Oconee Leather Works.
I ordered one each of these:- http://oconeeleatherworks.com/images...CelticKnot.JPG
and believe me, the photos don't do them justice. They are AMAZING. If you need belts or sporran straps, don't hesitate to buy them from Steve's company. You WON'T be disappointed.

I really try to support the craftspeople that are members here, it's the first place I go to for things kilt related.
I have to really pinch pennies, but I think it is well worth the little extra to support the folks here who really take pride and put spirit into what they make.
Though I haven't gotten anything from Steve YET, he is most cetainly on my want list. He and I have chatted through email several times. He is prompt in replying, very friendly and very accomodating. My impression was that he is out to get you what you are looking for instead of just looking to sell you something. He will get whatever biz I can send him, wish it could be more.
Wish I could afford a fraction of some of the fantastic stuff I have seen the artists here create, what a wonderful bunch of skilled craftspeople.

Yep, you picked the right place for belts. Steve's stuff is par excellence; you won't find any better. The additional cost over the cheap stuff is repaid in tremendous quality. You will certainly get what you pay for.

I've very proudly worn Steve's work for a couple of years now. I can only agree that he is a top notch craftsman and a joy to work with!

Those are lovely belts, and no doubt! If we didn't have a local artisan who lived 20 minutes from my house, I would buy one from Oconee for sure! Local business first, X Marks businesses a close second.

The same goes for me!
Full disclosure: Lamar Britt is a good friend of mine and has a taste for my bonnets.

Yep, I have two - one in brown and one in black. They're perfect for the job, and I like the square buckle.

Thank you so much for the kind comments BCAC. That is my personal favorite set. I'm very proud of it as it's truly unique to Oconee Leather Works from the buckle to the embossing to the stitching. I really need to update that photo as the keeper is actually 1" wide with edge beading on it. Perhaps you could hook me up with one for the web site?
It's an eye catcher and thanks for letting me know that there was no import tax incurred when you received it.
