5 Yard Heather Isles tartan casual kilt
Hi all-
Some of you may have read about my ordeal picking up 2 pieces of remnant Heather Isles tartan pieces that I picked up. You can check out the post under "Lesson learned". Anyway, here is the final result-I made this using my new measurements since my weight gain and fits wonderfully-

I lean my hip to the left, so every pleat shot I ever do looks like the kilt is slanting left. Its just the way I'm standing. Sorry also about the pleat puff-Its SUPER windy today and a breeze kicked up just as the pic was taking. All in all, I'm happy. You can see where the fabric is a little longer at the bottom middle pleat where the material was joined. I was able to slowly bring the fabric up by slowly compensating. The result was a couple of the pleat's horizontal lines are not "perfectly" in line....All in all its just good to have a Heather Isles tartan kilt again and perfect for spring and early summer!!

Mental note-Do note eat Indian food while wearing this kilt!!!!
