Wife out of surgery...now the recovery begins
My wife is 36 years old and had her hip replaced today. She was born with a birth defect that they did some surgical correction on when she was very young. As expected, it had worn out and she has had significant mobility issues for the past 5 or so years. The surgeon was very happy with the results of the surgery...they managed to get a little bit of extra length in the femur (she was 1" shorter on that leg) and were able to make the socket in her pelvis deeper and wider. Hoping that she has a smooth recovery.
