Finally, my new (first) kilt

It has been great being here on XMTS learning about kilts - but I felt like an outsider not actually ever having worn one. No longer!

Just picked up my kilt in California District.

(this pic was after I got home... sorry about some wrinkled pleats)

And, of course, put an XMTS badge on the (also new, not jocked yet) balmoral.

I'll be wearing it to the office on Monday. A little sad I missed wearing it for Tartan Day last week.

Nice tartan and you look great. I noticed the sporran hanging from the belt. I don't wear a belt if wearing a vest so use separate sporran belt. Just wondered if you have that option?

Wow! For a 'first time' you have really done a great job putting it all together. If you hadn't said you'd never worn a kilt before I doubt anyone would have guessed. Well done indeed!
