J. Higgins Value Kilts
Does anyone in XMarks community have any experience with J. Higgins' Value kilt? The website notes they are PV and yardage depends on hip size. Wondering if anyone can comment on quality, options (like pleated to sett or stripe), turnaround time on order, etc. Thanks!

I can't say that I do, but I have two kilts by them the first NYC Tartan, and the second was a kilt for my son. Both came in about four weeks my sons may be a bit sooner. The quality is great the sales staff are very good. When I orders my sons they made suggestions on how it should be made since it was for a child. I asked them if I could get it in time for the Tartan Day Parade in NYC, they told me the were not shore if it would make it in time but it came a week early. So as far as I can say they are a good company to take your business to.

I have one in Navy Stewart! It was suppose to be a custom made, but when I gave my measurements, they said they had one in stock that was my size. Hmm, thought that was a bit strange. Anyway, it's constructed very nicely and the PV material is awesome...perfect for summer.
One problem, though, the waist was a bit big...had to shorten it up some by moving the buckle and strap....not 100% but acceptable. If it was a tank, I would have sent it back.
Good luck!
