    A Poem

    Written by Yours Truly
Long, smooth legs and muscular shoulder
Pale tan calm that's strong as boulders
Easy you go, fine frisky thing
Through copper bells your greatness rings

Forest and mountain, glen and stream
your beauty shines and haunts my dreams
Though sometimes rough your rules steadfast
I stand beside you till feints have past

Whether Spain or Cuba your influence gleaned
It's my Heiland heart ye cannae waen
Heather or sea, whatever your flavor
You warm embrace I've come to savor.

Sure, not my best poem. Question is, am I writing about my girlfriend...or whisky?

To me, sounded more like a man being described in the poem...

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Tomboy maybe...? I can see that.
I don't know anything about whisky.

I suppose poetry lends itself to self-reflection a bit. lol:

Yeah, she's a bit of a tomboy. And my Scapa, Macduff, and Tullibardine is too...

    Ah ha! It's both.

    Possibly at the same time...

The tomboy girlfriend and the whisky, I mean.
