From Austin, TX
Hi folks. A little about me: Grew up in San Diego, CA and moved to TX ten years ago.
My great grandfather Lowson was born in Scotland, 1880. I don't know much about him, finding out more from my mother.
I've had a few jobs over they years: worked for the phone company in San Diego, cable company in Round Rock (TX) and now the Sheriff's Office as a patrol deputy.
I plan to be in Arlington, TX, for the Scottish festival in June. Maybe I'll be wearing my new LEO tartan USA Kilt. It's on order and hope to get it before then.
It'll be nice to get to know everyone here.

Welcome from a fellow Texan. I plan on being at the Texas Scottish Festval and Highland Games, as well. I'm sure many of the Texas crowd on the forum will be there.

During WWII, my grandfather Russell was stationed in England and flew B-24 Liberators to bomb Europe. I'm a big war history guy, love to go see the sights. One of these days I'll be able to go to England to see some things and to Scotland to see where great granddad was from.
Thanks, guys, for the welcomes!
