    It's like a hunter sporran and an Inverlochy had a baby...

    This is my first handmade sporran. I've been working on others but realized the "hunter" style would be an easier foray into sporrancraft, as well the fur front would make life a bit easier than doing a ton of additional tooling.

    I'll have additional pictures after I kilt up tonight.

    This project was started around 9am this morning and finished about 30 minutes ago - so 6 straight hours of stitching, sneezing (cutting fur sucks), and cursing...

    That's pretty sweet. It has an old fashioned rustic sort of feel, from the photos.

    BTW the sporran overall is smaller than I would have liked because I used a tracing from another sporran (some cheap non-Scottish import jobby)... but this was fun to "get my feet wet".

    That turned out Very Nice! Fur-on with a leather cantle, Sweet! I've got this shoulder-mounted corsican ram laying in my garage with a broken horn...been trying to figure out what to do with him, maybe we should talk!
