    Massachusetts tornado

Lots of bad storms and tornados going through my area. Cars flipped over and buildings collapsed just one street over. I'll be in the basement for the next few hours. Wish us luck.
This happen hours ago just a few towns over.

News reports didn't make it look good -- particularly around Springfield, Worcester, and points west.

Hope everyone of the rabble from that neck of the woods is safe.

I just hope these stop soon. Luckily the ones that dropped in this area earlier this week dropped in very sparsely populated areas. I hope we have a calm hurricane season (which incidentally started today) as we've already had enough storm related damage this year in this country.

Were safe! And my house didn't get hit. We did have family who had trees go through the roof and you can barely see their house from the road. I spent all day today at my church. We had about 20 massive trees down in our parking lot but absolutely nothing was damaged on the church itself. I have pine pitch in places I didn't think I touched and I feel like shredded beef. I'm am tired. The police and national guard wouldn't let us into the places that were hit the hardest and the entire town was shut off. There was only one back road in and out of town that was open. I'm
Off to take a nap as tomorrow I head off to Munson and Springfield to help with the recovery effort. Here are some pics of the less graphic damage

Man it was a wild day. I had to finish up at the office so I would have files backed up and I was watching the National Weather Service radar. Suddenly what was a block of storm coming our way turned into a tornado watch. I had to get bread and milk so I called home and told them to keep watch on the sky - to call me if they saw a funnel cloud. In and out of the store in three minutes. We are North East of Worcester and the sky was intense! What texture, what colors. We were ready to grab dogs and run to the basement but did not have to.
Puts things in perspective, doesn't it?

Here's some pictures from Springfield Mass. I spent the entire day cutting down trees and replacing roofs. Boarding up windows and comforting people. I was dumb and forgot sunscreen and I got TOASTED!!

Notice in the picture below there are bricks stuck in the wall of the white house to the left
