Cally Pub Crawl
Caledonian Society of Norway had the annual pub crawl last Thursday. Unfortunately, it was a poor turn up, but there were a handful of members there and three of us in kilts. We meet up at The Dubliner, and since we liked the place and were so few, we stayed there for the entire evening.
Here's the kilted ones, Nloken, me and JakobT. (Sorry for the bad picture quality)

Cheers, Oddern! It was a fun night, and very good to meet you guys. Hope to see more of the Cally gang in the future!
In regards to the tartans, I can't remember what neither Oddern nor JakobT is wearing, but I am waring the McGregor tartan myself.

I don't think Jakob's Kilt is Hamilton Grey Matt.
I think it's Grey Thistle Dubh As first brought to us all by Hamish (the great) via Geoffrey (Tailor) in Edinburgh.
Edit: The background story to Oddern's Kilt is here

Matt, you are right about the McGregor and Nithsdale tartan. But John is right about the Grey Thistle Dubh. I sendt a TM to Jacob, and he confirmed the tartan.

Oddern: I love to travel and been a lot of places but not yet to Norway. I can't promise anything with the economy and all but please feel free to PM when you set a date for 2012. If circumstances allow I would love to bolster your turnout. Thanks

I will keep you informed. Our society has regular meetings through out the year with diferent topics from pub crawls and whisky tasting to Burns Night. To most of these meetings we are allowed to invite a few friends. If you ever deside to visit Norway and the Oslo area, we will make sure to arrange a gathering in honor of your visit.

The Dubliner sounds like an Irish pub, no? It seems like a common destination for kilt nights/pub crawls because of a general lack of Scottish pubs... here in Toronto we have a couple Scottish pubs and one of them is called the Caledonian. Nonetheless, it seems like many kilt nights still end up at an Irish pub...
