Looking for a Tartan
OK, I am about to embark on Kilt #2. I know this seems like a small number to many of you, but as my tank has seen better days, I am thinking of a casual kilt to take some of the stress off of it. The trouble is that I can not seem to find the tartan I would like on any lists. I am looking for the American Bicentennial Tartan. Both because I want something patriotic and because I think it looks good. I know that it is sometimes called American Saint Andrews, but have found pictures that show two similar but different tartans under those names. I know there are other options, but as my state's tartan is abysmal (in my opinion) and our local Saint Andrew's Society lobbied against it's adoption, I don't have that option open to me.
So does anyone know where I can find enough of the American Bicentennial to get a Kilt made? I would prefer wool but I suppose I might be able to learn to like PV.

We'd be happy to have a kilt length woven for you, and can even make the kilt if you haven't already found a kiltmaker. Just PM or email me for details.
