I wasn't familiar with the Hearsay Gastro Lounge, so I looked it up. It's in the historic area of downtown Houston. The building was built in 1889. The dress code is not as formal as I thought. Here's the webby for it:

OCH! Where was everyone? I was the only one I knew there, except for my date! And, I was the only one in kilt! The distributer/host said I was more appropriately dressed than he. We sampled five Glenlivets, but I only knew of The Glenlivet, 10, 14, and 18. The last was mixed in with the breadpudding dessert.

I would have liked to do that one but the entry fee was a little steep for us.

The Ashford Arms opening is not happening this Friday, I was by there Monday and the place is not gonna be ready for a few more weeks.
