To the right of the screen you will see "User CP". Click on your screen name and you should go right to it.

Actually, I can't access my profile directly for a long time. I can get to my profile only if I go to any of my posts on the forum and there click on my name.

Not sure if this is related to the problems you're having but in case you don't know:
There is a longstanding issue with profile link on Home page of forum. If you go to Home page and click on your user name, you get an error message. If you click on your user name from any screen other than Home, it works.
If your browser reveals link URLs when you hover over them, you'll see that the Home page link for your user name has numbers at the end. All other pages, the link has your user name at the end. This is the source of the error.

Sorry am a bit of a PC dinosaur not quite sure what you mean by the Following =
"If your browser reveals link URLs when you hover over them, you'll see that the Home page link for your user name has numbers at the end. All other pages, the link has your user name at the end. This is the source of the error. "
Have tried accessing my profile and others profiles from the forum pages by clicking on their names and I still cant access anything nor can I view Gallery pages.
kind regards
Simon

The real answer to the question
Grizzly,
The real answer to your question.
Sir, I am sorry but it is a fact of the internet that there are spammers and hackers out there. This forum, being as large and active as it is, attracts approx. 10-15 each day.
We have a bit of a problem wading through the spammers who register and those real members who wish to become a part of this community.
We have some protections in place. Four of them you have already gone through successfully. You had to reply to an email with a confirmation code. That is one of the protections to insure the email you listed is valid and actually monitored by a person and not some machine.
The last and final hurdle all new member must pass is a personal verification by me and the Forum Staff. All new members go to "Moderated Status" for their first few posts. This is to insure you are actually posting stuff about kilts and not just posting links to some viagra or porn site.
While in this moderated status your registration is slightly limited. You will not have access to some information. This is the same information that spammers love to get into as they can post their junk there and we would not know about it until someone complains.
When I logged onto the forum this morning I found 23 members awaiting this final step. My apologies but this is all my fault as I have been lax and not had time to pass these new members today.
Once I can work through the new members and pass you, you will have full access to the entire forum.
Again, my apologies, and thank you for your patience.
